Photoshoot in the Enchanted Forest

To kick off 2019, some girlfriends and I decided to head to my friend Liz Estrada’s family cabin in Pine Mountain Club, CA (about a 1.5 hour drive from LA). I received the first run of our merchandise right before we left and I thought it would be fun to bring it and shoot photos!

We headed up on January 1st, our two cars packed to the brim with food, cozy clothes, and of course, wine! We arrived at night and the cold hit us harder than expected. As someone born and raised in Southern California, I always forget what “real weather” feels like.

Once we were settled in, we spent the ultimate girls night drinking wine and reading each others horoscopes. The next day we woke up to the first view of our breathtaking surroundings. Pine Mountain Club looks like a scene pulled straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie complete with charming cabins nestled in between soft patches of snow, I now see why it’s earned the nickname of “The Enchanted Forest.”

It definitely wasn’t t-shirt weather, but all of the girls volunteered to throw on a DCMP tee and brave the elements to shoot some content. We captured some great moments that I feel really encapsulate what our brand is about: sisterhood and unfiltered moments. After snapping photos, our reward was watching Sex & the City reruns for about six hours straight while scarfing down pizza and cocktails- pretty ideal vacation right?

We ended the last day, making mood boards and manifesting our intentions for 2019. There’s something so powerful about getting together with a group of women to talk about your biggest hopes and dreams. I’ll never forget what we shared together that day.

Hope you all have a wonderful 2019!
